Using Cable Displays To Highlight Your Shop Window

New Range of Literature Displays for the New Year

We are pleased to welcome in 2011 with our new range of modern literature displays.

Our team has worked hard to secure 4 new literature floor displays, bringing the latest design features to the market at a great price.

The first in the range of our literature displays is the Galaxy Floor Unit which features 16 A4 pockets, wheels for easy transport and a durable metal frame.

The Albi floor display has a staggered zig zag frame which features 4 shelves per side that can accommodate double A4 literature up to a depth of 35mm, ideal for magazines, brochures and promotional material.

Our range if completed with 2 similar designs; the small Slope Floor Display and the Large Slope Floor Literature Stand. The small version holds 5x A4 pieces of literature up to a depth of 35mm whereas the large version holds double A4 width. Both displays are flat packed and available for next day delivery.

All our literature display units come with castors that can lock in place, are flat packed for easy assembly and are made from lightweight materials making them mobile for exhibitions and retail spaces.

Fresh Look For Our Literature Racks

We are committed to staying ahead of the competition with the latest in display equipment and as such have just updated part of our literature rack range. As well as the new bamboo literature holder we mentioned in our last post, we have procured a unique stow away literature stand that can be folded away with your promotional material still on it making it ideal for exhibitions and events.

We have replaced our Media 10 brochure holder with an updated version now called the Protractor Catalogue Holder. It has a unique design that allows you to leave your literature in the brochure holder as you fold it for transportation. When you have finished the show, simply fold the unit flat with your brochures or catalogues in place and you’re done. No need to fill or empty the unit. Made from aluminium and polycarbonate it is light and strong with a capacity to take A4 literature in 5 separate 30mm deep pockets. Brochures, leaflets, magazines it takes them all. Ideal for trade shows and reception areas.

New Bamboo Banner Stand Added to Eco Friendly Range

Benefits of Our Safety Barrier Range

People have been asking us recently how big the safety difference is between a normal crowd control barrier and our safety retractable belt barrier with patented braking system, so we decided to make a video comparing the two. The first barrier being shown is a normal retractable barrier, the second is the barrier with safe belt release.

As you can see there is quite a noticeable difference between the two, and the added safety of the latter proves to be worthwhile in public areas where safety is key. Definitely worth investing in if you plan on using the barrier in public places.

We also managed to get a video of the belt in action being tested, obviously in day to day use it wont see anything like this much use in its lifetime, but we invest our time is sourcing the best quality products, when the market is currently flooded with cheap imports.

London 2012 Olympics Logo Controversy

As a big part of our business is design and printing, we are always interested in trends and big news stories in the world of graphic design, and we’re shocked at the announcement of the London 2012 Olympics logo, which has been surrounded in controversy.
A positive aspect of this is that it gets people talking, building awareness and coverage, but is it a case of all publicity is good publicity or could it have a harmful effect on the branding of the London Olympics.

The aim of the logo is to reach out to the youth and reflect the vibrant nature of the city of London and is the first time the same logo has been used for both the Olympics and the Paralympics. So far it has garnered mostly negative feedback, but the people involved are adamant that people will take to it as the games draw closer.

In comparison with the London logo, the latest logo from Rio De Janeiro for the 2016 Olympics is quite different. The logo above the words represents the famous Sugar loaf mountain and incorporates the same colours as the Brazilian flag, Yellow, Green and Blue as can be seen below.

In my opinion this a far fresher looking brand and reflects more accurately the venue for the Olympics. At least the London logo stirs come conversation and captures the topics of the nation unlike Beijing’s drab efforts as seen below.
