What is your banner print quality and resolution?

Some banner printers run their printers at higher than optimum speeds to increase their throughput, but this can compromise print quality. The argument goes that banners might be viewed from a distance, so print quality is not critical. Spend a little more however and you will get crisp text and bright colours that show off your company in the best light. We print our banners at higher resolution as standard to ensure your graphics look their best.

How are banners finished?

How you have your banner finished depends on how you want to display it. You can have straight cut edges or they can be doubled over for extra strength. Pockets for poles or eyelets for rope can be installed. As standard, all of our banners are finished with hems and eyelets for a reliable and easy to hang finish.

How do you install a printed banner?

There are lots of ways to hang a banner, and to find the best method for your requirements we have a free guide - how to hang a banner. If you want cheap banners for short term advertising use you can get away with a cut edge and eyelets. For longer-term outdoor advertising banners you should go for turned double thickness welded or sewn edges with eyelets or pockets, which helps prevent the banner tearing outdoors.

The beauty of our banners is that they can be pretty much any size you want. For general advertising banners common sizes include 2x6 ft, 3x8 ft, and 4x10 ft as well as 2x1m and 2x3m banners.

What banner weight do you use?

Not all PVC banners are equal. The weight and quality of the material can vary, which will impact the finish and longevity of your banner. We use heavier 450gsm PVC for the optimal balance between cost and performance. We can also provide heavier 510gsm grade pvc banners on request.

Are your PVC Banners Fire Rated?

Yes. For our standard banners, we use a semi-coated PVC material which has a DIN 4102-1 B1 fire rating, meaning it can be used for a wide variety of applications. Not all banner suppliers use fire resistant media so make sure to check when purchasing.

What are some common uses for custom printed banners?

Custom printed banners are a tried and tested way to advertise all sorts of events and businesses.
