Computer cut vinyl is ideal for window graphics as well as vehicles when you want a simple logo or single colour text for your window display or van. Standard vinyl is supplied with the self-adhesive to the back so you simply stick the logo onto any dry flat non-porous surface such as the side of a van.
For window graphics some people to prefer to stick the logo to the inside of the window facing out so it is protected by the glass. That's no problem just select the option Stuck inside - Viewed from Outside (adhesive on the front) from the "placement" drop-down above.
A popular use of self-adhesive vinyl includes vehicle graphics, boat names, exhibition headers, shop front signs. Signs are provided pre-spaced for DIY application. Have a look at the video below to see how easy it is. Each order is shipped with detailed fitting instructions.
When you order your vinyl logo you can choose to have a standard finish or a reverse finish shown below and selected in the Cut option menu above.

Vinyl Logos
To cut your logo or graphic in vinyl we need a vector file. How can you tell if your art is Vector Art? One way is by the file type. Vector art is usually created in Adobe Illustrator, and is commonly saved with certain file extensions. The four most common Vector file extensions are .ai, .pdf, .eps and .svg. If you're not sure if you have vector art, send it to us and we will check it for free. For more information on vector art see our guide below.

Can I choose the colour of the vinyl?
Yes, we cut your logo in a single colour that will be matched as closely as possible to the artwork you provide. There is a limited range of colours available so if we cant get a close match or your colour is critical please call us for a colour sample on 0208 664 5660.
What size logo can you cut?
We can cut a single piece up to 1.26m wide by pretty much any length. Larger logos can be supplied in separate tiles that overlap to create one logo.
What surfaces can stick it to?
Metal, glass, plastic, painted walls, are all great. In fact pretty much any smooth, non-porous surface. For tricky surfaces such as concrete or brick, we have special material available Wall and Outdoor Floor stickers page.
What self-adhesive material do you use?
Our standard vinyl is an Avery Dennison MPI 3000 HOP high opacity gloss white monomeric permanent adhesive. This has a 3-year life span outdoor. It a great all-round general-purpose material at a very affordable price. There are many specialist materials available with life spans of up to 10 years which we are more than happy to advise and quote on.

Are computer cut vinyl logos easy to fit?
You need to take a bit of care but they are supplied with full instructions and you can also watch our easy to follow self-adhesive vinyl installation videos.
How many colours can I have?
Computer cut vinyl logos are not printed and are cut from a sheet of single colour vinyl. If you are looking for something multi-coloured Visit stickers page.
Is the lettering printed or cut
Unlike our printed stickers, computer cut logos are created from coloured vinyl. A computer cutter cut your logo into the film then remove the excess (called weeding in the trade). We then apply a removable film to the logo to hold it together for ease of installation. In certain circumstances where it is not possible to match a colour, you are after we may print a clour onto self-adhesive vinyl.
Does my choice of colours impact cost?
No. The colours we provide online are all offered at the same cost. Although, having multiple colours together will increase your cost slightly.
Can I place the lettering on the inside of the window and have it be visible from outside?
Yes, there is an option in the drop-down on the calculator called placement. Select "Stuck inside - viewed from the outside".
Can you see through the vinyl?
The vinyl lettering is opaque but some light will pass through when installed on windows.
Can the lettering be used outside?
Yes, our vinyl lettering can be used for both indoor and outdoor application. The average lifespan for our standard material is 3 years. Other long-life materials are available on request.
