The key to the successful hanging of your textured wallpaper is to make sure your walls are clean of debris, dust and paint flakes. This will help the wallpaper get a better application, free of creases. You can paste using a standard or heavy-duty starch-based paste. After the paste has been applied please wait at least 10 minutes before hanging the wallpaper section. If you get any paste on the front of the paper, remove immediately using a damp cloth. When lining up 2 panels, make sure they are butt joined rather than overlapped for a seamless continuation of your design.
The surface of this textured wallpaper material is scuff resistant and can be carefully cleaned with some mild detergent and a damp cloth. We have also found an extra layer of protection can be had by applying a decorators varnish, like clear acrylic, onto the wallpaper. This saves the actual wallpaper from abrasion and water damage, while allowing it to be cleaned easily. It can also help to prevent any cracking if there is a crease in the application.
