What are some common uses for Correx® signage?

What sizes of Correx® signs can you print?

The maximum sized single sheet of Correx® we can print is 8’ x 4’ (2440mm x 1220mm), and sheets can be butted together to create larger images for building hoardings and large adverts. Signs can be ordered in standard paper sizes such as A1, A2, A3, and A4, or we can print the exact size you require.

How do you print Correx® signs and what is the print quality like?

We use our Latex HP R2000 printer for all of our Correx® printing. This cutting edge large format printer allows superb print quality at large volumes. This machine lets us print directly on the surface of the Correx® signs, with super sharp high-resolution images and bright vibrant colours. The latex inks used in the printing process are eco-friendly, odourless, and very durable, making it great for outdoor use.

Are there limits on the types of images and amount of colours that can be used?

At Discount Displays, we have invested in the latest high-tech digital printing technology and inks, which means we can print your colours, image, text logos and more onto our Correx® signs. You can print any combination of high-resolution and full-colour photos, images, lettering, and other graphics—all at highly affordable rates. We can match CMYK colours and often closely match Pantone colours to ensure your corporate branding always looks its best.

Can Correx® signs be used outdoors?

Correx® boards are specially designed to be used outdoors in all weather conditions. The rigid corrugated structure is fully weatherproof, and the inks are UV resistant to ensure minimal fading from the sun conditions. Care is advised in high-wind conditions as with all temporary signage.

How can the Correx® signs be mounted?

This comes down to how you are looking to display your Correx® sign. The material can be easily screwed or nailed to solid surfaces. For portable use, they can be carried by hand or pole mounted as placards for protests, demonstrations, marches, and other events. For use as lamp post advertising or for construction and building site boards, the boards can be drilled and attached using cable ties. For use as advertising or construction hoardings, the printed Correx® sheets can be stuck to walls using tape and other adhesives. We also offer a variety of clever 3D forms including free-standing A-board wedge signs and printed pallet skirts that are great for making attractive retail displays and for outdoor events and promotions.

Are Correx® signs easy to clean?

Yes, the smooth surface of our bespoke printed Correx® signs can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth, making it easy to keep the sign looking good in outdoor areas.

Can you make signs in different shapes?

Yes, our Correx® signs have the option of being cut to shape. This is great for custom cutouts, logos, arrows and event signage. Due to the corrugated nature, there are some limits for smaller sizes, and the finish is not as smooth as materials such as Foamex, but it is a great option for temporary displays.

Is there a minimum order size?

As standard, there is a minimum order value of £75 for our custom Correx® signage to cover artwork checking and machine set up. Any orders under £75 will incur a small order fee.

Do you offer bundles or bulk discounts for large orders?

Correx® is a very economical signage option, and we offer a range of fantastic value bulk discounts for large orders and bundles. We have great cheap Correx® bundles which use the most efficient sizing to reduce waste and improve pricing. These are a great option for event signage, advertising campaigns and more. For bulk orders of custom sizes, our online calculator automatically includes bulk discounts for orders. What are the lead and delivery times for your printed Correx® signage?

We print all our Correx® signs at our printing facility in Croydon. Being based in the UK and having our printing studio and warehouse under one roof allows us to fulfil orders more quickly than many of our competitors. Our Correx® signage can be printed in only 3-5 working days, and shipped on reliable next day couriers for quick turnarounds. If you have a deadline for your event, get in touch. Our high-tech HP printers can print large volumes to meet tight deadlines.

Can you help with the design process?

If you need assistance with getting your sign ready for printing or require a new design, our in-house graphic design team can help. Give us elements such as text, logos, and text, and we will take these and create a print ready design layout for you at a small additional cost. How sustainable and environmentally-friendly is Correx®?

Correx® signage is partially made from recycled materials and is fully recyclable when the signs reach the end of their lifetime. The fluted polypropylene material is level 5 rated, meaning it can be easily recycled into bins, benches, pallets, cables and more. Correx® is PVC free. We print using non-toxic eco-friendly latex inks that have been certified as safe for use in schools and are UL ECOLOGO, GREENGUARD, and Children & Schools certified. Our ink cartridges are also Eco Mark-Certified and meet stringent environmental standards.
