Welcome to Discount Displays - The UK’s experts on display and print for over 35 years

We are a UK-based company founded in 1987 on the ethos of providing great quality products at the lowest possible prices while delivering exceptional customer service. These tenets run through every part of our business, from choosing our product range to after-sales support.

We operate from a 7,000 sq. ft design, print and finish studio in Croydon (on the outskirts of London) with an additional office and 10,000 sq. ft of warehouse space in West Sussex. Our studio boasts some of the very best large-format print equipment on the market, ensuring a fast, reliable, and consistently high-quality service.

Our Story

We started our journey in 1987 with just a basic vinyl cutting machine and a screen printer. It’s a far cry from the state-of-the-art large-format digital printing department that now sits at the heart of our business. While the technology has evolved, our mission remains the same: helping companies and organisations communicate visually with their customers.

We went on to be the first company in the UK to install the ‘Arizona’ large format printer by Oce. In the late '80s, we also invested in a flatbed UV printer and a Swiss-made Zund cutting machine. This investment paid off hugely, in one year alone we managed to print enough PVC to go from London to Brighton and back!

In 1992, we moved into a larger premises in Croydon, where we still are today. We've added a few extensions over the years to keep up with growing demand and to expand our print capabilities.

Not long after, we launched our website just as the internet was beginning to take shape. It quickly became a valuable tool, helping us to promote our product range and allowing 24/7 ordering - which was quite novel at the time! What set us apart then, and still does today, is our full control over the entire print process. Unlike many web-based companies that act as middlemen, everything happens under one roof.

Throughout the 1990s, we built strong relationships with display stand manufacturers across Taiwan, China, Korea, South Africa, Turkey, and beyond. This allowed us to grow our product range to over 5,000 items, including many exclusive to Discount Displays.

In 1999, we opened a new storage facility in West Sussex, expanding our warehouse space to over 10,000 sq. ft. This gave us the ability to stock a wider range of products for faster delivery.

Over the next two decades, we experienced consistent growth, working with thousands of companies from every industry imaginable.

In 2018, we expanded again by opening a new ancillary account and marketing office in Chichester, West Sussex. This move was part of our ongoing effort to provide the best possible shopping experience for our customers.
