What is a shell scheme?
Shell Scheme is a term you may well have come across when booking an exhibition space or planning an event, but might have never really known what it meant.
A shell scheme is a booth built by the exhibition organiser, out of modular hardware,
to create an enclosed area for you to exhibit. The basic principle is the same whichever show you got to but organisers use slightly different systems so panel sizes may vary a little, something to keep in mind when you order your graphics. Packages vary but you may well have walls, lights, carpet, sockets and your name above the stand, but so does the person next to you and everyone else at the event. So how do you stand out?
You need to decorate your shell scheme with striking graphics that quickly get your message across, make sure you stand out from your competitors and entice visitors onto your stand. Graphics can be the deciding factor in making your show a success.
The simple way is to use graphics to display your product and services on the wall of the booth. However, there a number of ways to do this, each with their own unique features meaning the choice can be difficult.
If you’re flying into a show and taking the graphics with you want something that rolls up for easy transport. If it’s local and you’re delivering other equipment to the stand then rigid panels may be the best option, especially if you intend to use them again. If you need more flexibility, attending lots of shows or you want to display where there is no shell scheme available then a portable display could be the answer.
Shell scheme dimensions
The size of a shell scheme is dependent on the exhibition. Usually shell scheme graphic panels are 2340mm high by 950mm wide. When you have booked your space the venue should provide you with a specification of exact sizes for your shell scheme.

Premium Rollable Panels

Rigid Foamex

Self Adhesive Vinyl
Sometimes less is more, and a series of simple self-adhesive logos or strap lines can make a great impact. Self-adhesive vinyl is computer cut and supplied on a carrier tape for you to simply squeegee onto the wall. We have hundreds of fonts to choose from and it can be easily designed and ordered using our simple online tool.
