The Discount Displays
Design Competition

Following on from our previous successful scholarship programme, we wanted to give a similar opportunity to students this year.

We’re asking college students, undergraduate university students and post graduate students to draw on their subject knowledge, inspiration from their course and their creative flair to create an eye-catching and inspirational design which could be used on a banner stand display, often seen at university open days and events.

Brief

The objective is to design a banner stand that promotes the student's relevant course and appeals to prospective students while taking into consideration the brand and identity of their university or college.

Grants

• 1st Place:
- £300 Cash Prize
- Free Banner Stand with the winning design for your University / College

• 2nd Place
- £100 Cash Prize

• 3rd Place
- £50 Cash Prize

Winners will be chosen from the Discount Displays judging panel including our in-house design team based on the design that has best fulfilled the brief. As well as the cash prizes, Discount Displays will help to promote the student and their design portfolio by showcasing their work on our blog and social media platforms.

How To Apply

Please send your banner stand design as a PDF file to the following email address: [email protected] before or on the deadline of 31st May.

All submissions should be sent from an educational institutes email address. If you don’t have access to a relevant email address, then please send proof of enrolment to your university or college.

Terms and Conditions
- The scholarship is available to all college or university students, and all applicants must be attending a UK based educational institute.
- Closing date: 31st May 2024.
- One entry per applicant.
- When submitting your design, you grant permission for Discount Displays to use your name and design for promotional efforts.
- The top 3 will have their work showcased on the Discount Displays website.
- Discount Displays will treat all applicants in the strictest confidence, and only the top 3 entries will have their work showcased.
