A-frame signs or sandwich boards are popular and cost-effective methods of on-street advertising here are a few of the question we get asked hopefully they will help you choose the right product.
Are A board frames double sided?
Yes all the sandwich style boards are double sided whether they take posters, have printed messages or are chalkboard types. So obviously you can choose to use just one sided if you want.
How durable are freestanding A-boards?
They are designed for outdoor use and we have chosen top quality sturdy products however they need to be looked after in particular during inclement weather and strong winds where we advise you take them inside. We have products such as the Icon heavy duty A board that are great for outdoor use.
Are A-frames signs weatherproof?
The wood and aluminium used in their construction is designed for long-term outdoor use.
The poster advertising versions have protective plastic covers but they are not 100% waterproof. in an exposed location in driving rain, you may get some moisture under the covers which is why we advise using laminated or PVC weatherproof posters.
Do they fold up?
Yes, that is the beauty of these outside displays. They simply fold flat when not in use so they are easy to carry and store.
How stable are they?
They have a large foot which make them and idea street sign and stable in most conditions. We always advise that you keep an eye on the weather in case it is forecast to get windy. If you intend to use your A frame in an exposed location have a look at swinger boards or waterbed pavement signs.
