If you don't have any artwork, we can design it for you. Our team of designers are experts when it comes to large format and display print and will work with you to bring your brief to realisation. As well as a custom design service, we also have a number of set artwork packages starting at just £10.99.

If you are providing print ready artwork, we do not provide a proof as standard, which enables us to get your print to you quicker. If you require a proof please get in touch with us to discuss. We do provide a free technical file check as standard, as outlined below.

We can provide a machine print proof for the extra cost of £25 plus delivery. This involves printing an A3 proof on the machine that will be used to produce your final print. This will give you an accurate representation of colour. If you are using our design service, we do send out a PDF proof, which is an accurate representation of content and positioning. It is not an exact indicator of the final colour due to the limitations of screens.

Quoted delivery dates for print are from approval of artwork, so please bear in mind that requesting a proof may delay the delivery date of your product.

After you have placed your order a provisional despatch and delivery date will be sent to you via email.

Our standard delivery time for printed products is 2-5 working days after artwork has been approved for print. If you have a specific deadline, please contact us to ensure we can meet this. Please check that your artwork meets the guidelines above to prevent any delays in approval.

Before we go to print, we will carry out a free technical check on your artwork. If there are any issues, we will contact you to let you know what needs to be changed.

Our printers and media are of the highest standard and are carefully calibrated to produce vibrant, full colour prints. The process involves CMYK printing and this means it is not always possible to match Pantone colours, but they will be converted to the nearest CMYK equivalent.

If exact colour matching is critical, please send us a physical copy of other printed material, such as a letterhead or brochure, and we will check your file prior to printing. If we cannot achieve a reasonable match we will call you to discuss.

Please send any physical examples to: Discount Displays, 31-35 Wortley Road, Croydon, Surrey, CRO 3EB.

How do you cut Correx signs to shape?
We use a camera controlled Swiss digital printing table. There are no set up fees you might expect with die-cutting and you get an accurate cut time after time.

What is Correx made from?
Correx is a corrugated plastic (polypropylene) and is also known as fluted plastic board.

Can correx be recycled?
Correx is 100% recyclable in Waste stream 5. Check with your local recycling facilities before disposal.

Is Correx biodegradable?
No, Correx isn’t biodegradable. However, it will disintegrate after very prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Is Correx strong?
Yes. Given its weight Correx is a durable solution. At 4mm or thicker is impossible to tear or break, but can only be cut. The direction of the flutes is important. If you bend it along the flutes it will bend easily however if you try to bend it across the flutes it is very durable.

Can you bend Corex?
One of the beauties of Correx is that it is easy to bend. It can be creased and bent to form display items such as triangular bollard covers or pallet wraps.

Is Correx the same as Corvex, Coriflute and corrugated plastic?
Yes, they are all brands of corrugated plastic sheets. Over a long period of time, we decided to use Correx due to its high print quality and durabiliy.

What is the typical use for a Correx sign?
A Correx based sign is typically used for temporary signage options; such as construction signs, estate agents boards, and promotional signage since it is cost-effective, lightweight, and can be used indoors or outdoors.

What mounting options are available?
We have several products that are designed to mount Correx signage available on our site. For use on soft ground, we recommend our sign stand holder. Often, boards are drilled with holes in the corners of the Correx boards so they can be cable tied to fencing or nailed or screwed to a suitable surface. Mounting to plywood or MDF first is also a popular option as it increases the sturdiness of the fluted board. You can also use Velcro to attach the board due to its lightweight nature.

Are you able to print on both sides of the Correx?
Yes, we can, please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

What inks are used?
We use latex inks to print on our state of the art HP flatbed Correx printing machine. We print direct to board to ensure your artwork won’t crack or peel unlike some of the boards on the market. It is also an eco-friendly, non-hazardous solution that is perfect for indoor use.

What size do you recommend I choose?
Our most popular sizes are the typical A sizes e.g A0, A1, A2 etc. Obviously, the size you will need depends on the space and design you are working with, but our calculator allows that flexibility as you can choose a custom size.

If you are looking for something bigger we can print up to 10ft x 5ft boards, and you can always place multiple boards side by side to create huge display areas.

How quickly can you deliver my sign?
We usually say to allow 2-5 working days after your artwork has been approved. We will check the artwork the same day as it is supplied, but if there are any issues, e.g it’s not good enough quality to print, this may cause delays. If you are working to a tight deadline, please let us know and we will do our best to meet this.

What is the expected life of a Correx sign?
Typically with good care and careful placement, you can expect over 2 years of life. These signs are designed to be temporary in nature, however, if stored well and cared for, they can be used multiple times. We have customers who have been using their signs for much longer and they still look in great condition. If you are looking for something to last longer we do offer more durable alternatives, such as Dibond aluminium signage.

Do you offer discounts for large quantities?
Yes, we do offer discounts for trade Correx printing. Our pricing will reflect this using the calculator; as the M² increases, the price per M² will decrease. If you would like to order a very large amount, over 100sqm, simply use the "request a quote" button to the right of the customer images.

Is Correx weather resistant?
Yes, it is made with a plastic material meaning they are suitable in wet weather conditions. Additionally, they are printed using UV resistant inks meaning they are fade resistant; extending the lifetime of the sign outdoors. That being said, they are not designed for extreme weather conditions, so use common sense when deciding when they may need to be taken inside.
