Digital large format printing is the ideal way to benefit from the impact of full colour graphics even for one off’s and short runs.

Our large format printers are capable of producing graphics for all your advertising and marketing requirements. All print and finishing is carried out in house so you get consistent high quality, fast turnaround and low prices.

We have over 35 years experience serving companies large & small nation wide. Our wide format printing department based in Croydon uses state of the art digital printing equipment to produce a comprehensive range graphics and signs including, posters printers, PVC banners, billboards, floor graphics, window displays, vehicle wraps, vinyl banners, exhibition graphics, hoardings, point of sale. Exhibition graphics

Add a finishing touch to any stand. Exhibition graphics available in a range of materials and custom sizes. Vibrant eye catching bright colours, our large format graphic prints are finished with anti-scratch/glare laminate. Graphics can be mounted on 3mm or 5mm Foamex, rigid panel PVC board or rollable panel semi rigid PVC for easy transportation.

Other large format digital printing media and substrates available (Foamboard, Display Card, Clear Acrylic Foamboard, MDF etc). Or update your graphics for your existing stands such as banner stand graphics, shell scheme and pop up stand drops.

Posters

Custom printed indoor and outdoor posters. Indoor posters are ideal for point of sale applications. Weather resistant outdoor posters are ideal for billboards, hoardings and pavement signs. Our extensive range of printed graphics include poster printing for indoor posters & outdoor posters in all popular sizes A1, A2, A0 up to 48 sheet. Printed using vibrant inks, large format poster printing is ideal for any quantity you require.

Banners

Specialists in printing indoor banners and vinyl outdoor advertising banners from one off to large numbers. We have thousands of happy clients, producing vinyl printed banners for retail, sports events, sales promotion, marketing and fund raising. Our banners are available in almost any size or quantity, single colour to full colour photorealistic banners. Outdoor banners are printed using fade resistant durable inks. Whether you need a single graphic or 20 off digital will save you time and money. Our backlit posters are great for light boxes, printed on translucent UV stable lightbox material in full colour.

Fabric Wall Graphic

Stand out from the crowd with these stunning stretch tension fabric graphics, ideal for business and home displays. The graphic is printed on a flexible fabric using the latest dye sublimation techniques, once printed using our large format display print service, the fabric’s silicone edge goes straight into its low profile wall mounted frame.

Billboards

We can also produce building wraps, hoardings and billboard printing. Outdoor durable printing inks onto vinyl and billboard paper with comprehensive finishing service mounting onto rigid PVC and MDF. Digital large format prints are ideal for hoardings and billboards. Our direct from disc printing means one off and short run prints are affordable.

Our 7000 sq foot in-house print studio has a wide range of high resolution 1400dpi wide digital printers as well as laminating and mounting machines. Our plant list includes the following hardware: 1x HP Latex R2000 Plus Printer, 1x HP Latex 800 Printer, 1x Roland TrueVIS LG-640 UV 1625mm Printer, 1x Zünd G3 L-3200 Digital Cutter, and 1x Seal 60" Pro62S Laminator and Mounting Machine. What is large format printing?

Large format printing simply refers to printing onto materials that are larger than those used in standard printers. This is generally considered to be between 18 and 100 inches wide. Many different materials can be used in large format printers, and common applications include printing advertising, banners, exhibition graphics, and posters.

What kinds of products can you print?

What materials can you print on?

We can print on various materials to suit different applications, giving the flexibility to choose the perfect material for the job. Rigid boards such as Correx and Foamex are commonly used for temporary signage products. Bespoke printed banners are printed on various types of strong and durable vinyl. We can print self-adhesive stickers and graphics for walls, floors, windows, and other surfaces. Different types of fabric can be printed for custom printed banners, flags, and tablecloths. Posters can be printed on paper, PVC, or other materials, depending on where they will be used.

What printers and inks do you use for large format printing?

We have invested in the latest state-of-the-art digital printing technology, including our amazing HP Latex R2000 Plus Printer and Zund Camera Controlled Multi-Purpose Digital Die Cutter. We have a range of other printers and finishing machines to produce a huge range of large format prints. We use the highest quality inks and print at up to 1400 dpi, for stunning high-resolution full-colour images. Our team of expert printers have over 35 years of experience in large format printing, ensuring the highest levels of consistency and dazzling results. Our ink technology of choice is Latex, it is an eco-friendly, vibrant and durable solution.

What is the maximum size that can be printed?

It depends on the material, but the standard maximum width we can print is 2.5m, with lengths depending on the type of material being printed. For some materials, including PVC banners, we can supply banners up to 5m wide. For larger boards, multiple images can be placed alongside each other to create a seamless composite image, so there is no limit on the maximum image size that can be produced.

Can you print items in irregular shapes such as logos and lettering?

We have high-tech computer-controlled cutting machines that can cut items into almost any shape or form. This is fantastic for creating bespoke printed logos and company names, helping your promotional and marketing materials to stand out from the crowd.

How sustainable is the printing process?

At Discount Displays, we are committed sustainable signage, our large format printing focuses on HP Latex eco-inks that are UL ECOLOGO and GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified, while our Eco Mark-Certified ink cartridges are odourless, non-toxic, and meet stringent environmental standards. We are also always striving to reduce the energy used in the printing process by using the most up to date digital technology.

Are there minimum orders and can I print a one-off item?

The great advantage of digital large format printing is that small orders and one-off items are much more affordable than using traditional printing processes. While some items do have a low minimum order number, we can print one-off custom designs for most product types.

How do we send you our artwork and design?

Once you have ordered an item, we will email you a link to upload your artwork. We accept a variety of formats and will check your design for free prior to printing. Please see our artwork preparation guide for more information.

Can you help with the design or formatting process?

Yes! We have an in-house team of graphic designers who can help with your design process. Whether you need assistance with formatting your artwork ready for printing or want us to produce an artwork from the basic elements, we offer various highly affordable design packages to help you get great looking results.

What are the lead times and delivery times for custom printed orders?

Being based in the UK and having an in-house print studio means we can fulfil orders much more quickly than many of our competitors. We aim to print and deliver our standard items in 2–5 working days from approving your artwork. Swiss Precision Cutting

A computer controlled cutter is used to cut all our Correx signs ensuring perfect edges and spot on sizes.

However much experience a sign maker has, hand cutting Correx can result in rough edges and inconsistent shape and size.

Our fast and accurate flatbed cutter takes away the human error in Correx cutting. You get quality signs time after time.

Perfect Colour Every Time
